A Chico State graduate and Butte County resident since 1979, Bill Brouhard has been involved in the planning, entitlement and development of some of Chico’s largest mixed use residential and industrial real estate projects.
Mr. Brouhard has been an active and effective advocate for the real estate industry promoting quality planning, responsible land use policies and progressive economic development programs and initiatives in Chico and Butte County.
His efforts and those of his business partner, Doug Guillon, helped to foster an environment which encouraged over $80 Million Dollars of private investment in Chico, stimulating our economy and creating jobs for our residents.
As a Supervisorial appointee, he served as a Director of the Butte County Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) where his leadership helped craft the County’s Job Creation Plan. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Chico Economic Planning Corporation (CEPCO), including it’s Executive, Job Creation and special project Committees.
Bill is a former Director on the Board of the Butte Community Builders Association (BCBA) and continues to serve on the Board of Directors (Vice Chair) for the Chico Chamber of Commerce, including it’s Executive Committee and 5 Star Corporation.
In 2008 Bill was given the “Business Advocate of the Year” award by the Chico Chamber of Commerce; Certificate of Recognition by State of California 4th District Senator Sam Aanestad, and Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition by 2nd Congressmen Wally Herger.
Over the years, his extensive volunteer commitment to improving the physical and economic environment in Chico has been a meaningful contribution to our community.
Bill is a general partner at Guillon-Brouhard Commercial Real Estate, specializing in industrial leasing, turn key industrial development and management of large scale mixed use land planning, entitlement and development projects in and beyond Butte County.
Bill and his wife, Sherri Lee had their 1st child in January 2009.
